Uniforms

Students at Hillcrest are encouraged to participate in a voluntary uniform program by wearing a T-shirt or Polo shirt bearing the Hillcrest insignia. Although we suggest that students wear a Hillcrest shirt every day, Thursdays and Fridays are "Hillcrest Spirit Days". PTA will encourage the wearing of Hillcrest shirts on these days thru monthly contests and by periodically offering students wearing their Hillcrest shirts small prizes.

The PTA supports the program by processing orders with See-N-Sew Embroidery. Hillcrest PTA does not keep an inventory of shirts on hand, all shirts need to be ordered. To print an order form you can send with your student to class, click here. Those in need of Uniform Assistance should contact Hillcrest Elementary's Guidance Counselor.

Partners in Education [PIE] [Hillcrest Partners]

The partners in Education program links businesses and organizations with schools in relationships that enhance student learning and promote school improvement. In a partnership, a business adopts a school, or schools, and shares its human and material resources. It is a program organized by Orange County Public schools. Hillcrest Elementary promotes the program through its volunteer resource, Hillcrest PTA.

Education and business are so closely related that each flourishes from the support and prosperity of the other. Schools must prepare today's students for their entry into a diverse, competitive work force. When businesses take part in the education of these young people, they help strengthen the work force of the future. The Partners in Education program is vital in helping the community and the school system work and grow together.
